• I enjoyed a career in public accounting for almost 30 years, and then returned to life as a student to earn a Ph.D. and begin a second career as an accounting professor.  I am passionate about mentoring students and providing opportunities for them to be successful in the business world.  My years of experience help me to provide real life examples to engage students in the classroom.  My desire for life-long learning has provided opportunities beyond my dreams and I hope to mentor students in a way that encourages them to develop confidence as active learners recognizing that knowledge opens doors.  It is exciting to consider the possibility that some of my students are going to change the world.
