Overview
Trinity University knows that the San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) is full of incredibly bright and hardworking students. We also know that costs are often the most critical factor when students are selecting a college.
For these reasons, Trinity and SAISD founded the TCI to encourage SAISD students to apply to Trinity and to ensure that a Trinity education would be financially accessible to all SAISD students.

Visit Opportunities
Top students from SAISD are invited to attend visit programs at Trinity. Students and their guests learn about the admissions process, college affordability, the Trinity student experience, and the TCI partnership.
Automatic Eligibility
All students from SAISD are automatically considered under the partnership. No additional application is required.
Campus Partners & Community
Trinity students from SAISD meet a few times each semester for social events and touchpoints with our partners from departments across campus.
Top Tier Education at Home
Students from SAISD do not have to choose between pursuing a high caliber education or staying close to home. The TCI allows students to reap the benefits of both.
Financial Guarantees
For all admitted SAISD students, Trinity will:
- Meet 100% of the demonstrated financial need
- Minimize loan indebtedness by limiting student borrowing to the annual federal direct loan
